Introduction:

The XR-XS108 Sleep Deprivation Instrument performs feedback control by monitoring animal activity levels (sleep factors). It can activate the deprivation rod to induce sleep deprivation or fragmentation only after the animal enters a specific sleep stage.

  1. Standard Mode: No computer connection required; operated via a 5-inch touchscreen.
  2. External Control Mode: Integrates sleep behavior with third-party systems (including sleep analysis software from imported competitors/EEG/EMG electroencephalogram-electromyogram systems) to achieve diversified and effective sleep deprivation.
  3. Software Control Mode (Optional): Equipped with SuperSleep software and a camera, which enables the effective customization of deprivation strategies and deprivation intensity based on the real-time activity level of the animal.

    1. Operated via a 5-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen, with interface language supporting Chinese/English switching.
    2. Operation direction: Forward rotation, reverse rotation, and forward-reverse rotation. The disturbance rod rotates 360 degrees without dead angles to prevent animal pinch injuries.
    3. Deprivation intensity: Three adjustable levels (Mild, Balanced, Strong).
    4. Rotation speed range: 5-20 RPM (Revolutions Per Minute).

    10. The system has a built-in instrument administrator mode, which enables the setting of more instrument parameters—such as increasing the maximum rotation speed to 70 RPM, customizing deprivation intensity, and setting the upper and lower limits of random duration for random rotation.
